OUR SERVICES
Routine Exams
We encourage all of our patients to visit us at least once every six months. During these routine appointments, we will provide a thorough dental cleaning and exam to make sure that your smile is in good health.
Dental Hygiene
While regular preventive treatments are important, the best way to keep your mouth and smile healthy is to practice good oral hygiene at home. When you visit, our dentist and hygienist will review your home care routine with you and make suggestions about how you can improve it.
Dental Fillings
A dental filling is a restoration used to repair minor to moderate tooth damage. We may recommend a filling if your tooth has been damaged by tooth decay (for example, if your tooth has a cavity), or if your tooth suffers from minor fracturing or chipping. The dental filling is used to restore the tooth to its original structure and function and to return your smile to good health.
Dental Crown
Dental crowns are used in dental restoration at Radford Family Dentistry. The anatomical region of teeth, known as the crown is typically covered in enamel. After growing beneath the gingiva and then bursting into position, the crown is typically visible in the mouth. If part of the tooth gets chipped or broken, a dentist can apply an artificial crown.
Emergency Dentistry
The best dental care available when you need it most! Patients who experience severe oral distress or acute tooth pain and need prompt attention can turn to Radford Family Dentistry for emergency dental care.

Hello
I'm Dr. William Radford
Dr. Radford attended UNC and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. Upon graduation, he was admitted to the UNC School of Dentistry, where he graduated in 2009 with a DDS in dental surgery. His family has been practicing dentistry for many years, and he was motivated by his father, who was a dentist.
In 2016, after several years as an associate, he launched his own business in Elkin, North Carolina. Dr. Radford is married to Rebecca, his dental assistant and office manager, and has a daughter, Juliette, and three stepdaughters, Taylor, Emma, and Carly Colbert. With any luck, one of the other four will follow in his footsteps.
